DuckDuckGo is a privacy-first internet browser app used by millions of people on iOS and Android. To continue growing, the next step was to launch desktop browsers.
The brief was to design a macOS browser that achieved feature parity with competitors whilst also including unique features to help simplify online privacy.
I was 1 of 3 designers responsible for leading macOS design projects from inception through to exploration and managing the delivery of final designs.
I led the design of key features like the New Tab Page Privacy Timeline (the app's highest traffic page) and Duck Player, a private YouTube mode which was subsequently featured in 9to5Mac and Gizmodo.
